Solid Works, the 3D design software used in our engineering department, is used to create a 3D drawing of the requested product so that the technical drawing can be used in production, to determine the casting weight of the part to be produced and to create the 3D data required for casting simulation. Before starting production, the risks affecting the quality of the product are identified and preventive measures are taken. Casting simulation is carried out using simulation programmes for the parts deemed necessary, and the mould design and casting parameters are determined in order to minimise the risks that may occur in the actual casting and to obtain the best quality product at the lowest cost. The parameters determined are instructed to ensure that the required product is produced by the production department without error.
